Orriri makes the first 3D printed bags in India, so there was no category to sit in and nothing to launch with except the objects themselves. We treated the launch as an exhibition, bags on plinths lit one at a time, then built a content system that keeps answering what a 3D printed bag actually is. It reached a long way past the room, and the bags sold.
We treated the launch as an exhibition, because that is what the product needed. Bags on plinths, lit one at a time, photographed as objects rather than accessories. Then a content system that keeps answering what a 3D printed bag actually is, since that question does not go away after the first week.
The launch reached a long way past the room, and the bags sold. An audience with no reference for 3D printed anything walked out with one.
A bag that had never been to a wedding.
